Yes yes...I decided to get one of these DNA test done.

After many warnings from the test provider regarding possible mutated genes or unwanted outcomes I decided to click on "yes..I agree" and after opening the file I was shocked to find out I have the  2 copies of the APOE4 gene, just like Chris Hemsworth.

My mother is currently suffering from Alzheimer's and my risk of getting this horrible disease syrocketed to 15X ...needles to say, it took me a week to calm down.

After investigating a bit, contacting famous biohackers and some visits to my GP, I calmed down a bit and, after thinking it through, I decided to make the best out of it, find all the information I need in order to give myself the best chance not to get this desease.

A big part of my project will be dedicated to this gene and hopefully I will be able to help others, and myself ofcourse.

2% of the population has this variation of the APOE Gene.
